The Cotton On group approached us to assist them in creating a launch video for the new brand ‘Free’.
Free is targeted at the tween market (Boys and girls aged 9-14) This brand is online only, so they needed to create a strong online presence with social media and online video.
The only requirement was to have an epic food fight. So we constructed a short story based around the local neighborhood kids making their way to a forbidden back yard that previously they had only heard dreamed of, think The Sandlot Kids mixed with a little bit of Willy Wonka.
Our aim was to convey a strong sense of adventure and mischief whilst staying true to the brands mantra of fun, friendship and freedom.
